It's well into the season now so DON'T hold me to this, but I think this weekend's episode is our Leavenworth chinook salmon episode from Icicle Creek.

Rod Bush of River Otter Guide Service (http://www.greatnw.com/riverotter) is the star (along with the fish) as we pull kwikfish in hopes of landing some Eastern Washington kings.

Interesting sidelight on the effectiveness of a good guide: When we took out at the end of the day, both of us had a nice chinook. The fish checker at the take-out told us they were the second and third fish he had seen ALL DAY.

I had a similar experience fishing with Rod Bush on the Hump a few years ago. That particular day the river was real low and almost everybody was skunked and we ended up with three chinook.
