Fishing, hunting, whoring about, tending my garden, gathering mushrooms, filling orders and working hard.
PP is pretty far down my list of priorities these days. A quick glance thru the Dark Side shows me that I ain't missing much.
Fish on...

Though as I spent four days bobbing around on a 65 footer 70 miles off the coast of Mexico, I did think of all you clowns.
The 170 pounds of Ahi and Hamachi loins I brought home helped me get over it, though.
Fish on...

The 170 pounds of Ahi and Hamachi loins I brought home Tha's a lot of mercury! What does one do with that much amberjack and yellowfin? A couple of nights of fresh ahi, sure. Past that.... ? Pressure cook/can it?

Pressure cook/can it? A sushi party with friends and gift bags on the way out the door. The only thing better than getting fresh Ahi from down south yourself is having it hand delivered to you.

That yellowtail is as good as it gets. Yes it is...and yellowtail has definitely found a spot right in the group at the top of my favorite fishes, both to catch and to eat. They's fast, really fast. Fun. Fish on... Todd

Todd, I completely agree with you. Yellowtail fight as good as any fish pound for pound. I caught several rooster fish back to back from 20-30+ pounds, after landing a 30#+ rooster fish I immediately hooked into a 20# yellowtail and the difference in fight was significant. I enjoy yellowtail as much as any fish to fight and to eat.

Haven't caught. Want to. Yeah they’re delicious but I was really surprised at the sporty fight they put up. It was especially apparent after catching a half dozen decent sized Roosters and then 5 minutes later fighting the YT. There was absolutely no comparison, the YT was a badass fighter, Roosters ain’t no slouch but I’ll take the YT every time. I’d like to try Yellowtail battered fish and chips style but it’s usually consumed so fast that there’s none left to cook. . I don’t care for Dorado although they’re fun to catch and an oddly beautiful critter I find them a little “fishy” tasting. I’ve had them several times and while it’s OK in my book it’s definitely not in my top ten to eat.
