After failing bug-tossing in the early 60s, I matriculated to genuine (but not genuinely dangerous - see other thread) hippydom, complete with faux Afro and post-adolescent facial hair. If you think the Dead suck, then you didn't drop enough acid. I eventually failed at hippydom too, due to an aversion to dirt, but compensated by graduating to competent bug-tossing. It's a good life I guess, since I don't know any other.

Ask Ken Kesey what he thinks of the hippies. They had it good before all those dirty patchouli wearing hippies took over . I'm glad I came up when Judas Priest Iron Maiden and Celtic Frost were the flavor of the day.
