Stock market looks like its gonna tank tomorrow. Futures markets have been shut down as they are down 1000+. FED cut rates a full point so now we are officially at zero. FED also announces they will inject 4 trillion into the economy in 4 installments the first being 700 billion as part of their Quantitive Easing package.
On a side note Russia has taken a "kill shot" at the dollar. Russia can sell oil at $10 per barrel for 100 years if they want and still make profit. The dollar is directly tied to oil and so are the markets and all valuations including crypto currency, even gold and silver. What's apparent is that oil will remain low until the US dollar has been totally destroyed and is no longer even a consideration as a world reserve currency. That is a side agenda, Russia has the power to do this and is doing it, there is nothing which can be done to recover the dollar.

Unfortunately Americans are going to end up holding the "empty dollar bag" which is much bigger than the stock market, nobody even knows how big.
Americans are stuck in the dollar, everything they have is based on and denominated in dollars.
Everybody is going to be upset with America, everybody will blame us for the entire world economic crisis.

Nobody is going to dump the dollar. This is a global pandemic that's not isolated to a single countries' currency. There is no fiat replacement to the dollar and there's not enough gold, silver or block chain currency to go around. EVERYONE's currency is tanking and going to continue to tank for a while.
Under last in, first out (LIFO) theory, America was in the strongest position going in and more than likely will the be in the strongest position coming out - but it's going to take years. Imagine being Spain, Italy or Iran in this.

Just the opposite Rich. Every one is fleeing to the Dollar forcing higher valuations. The fed is trying to devalue the dollar.
It costs Russia $18 US and SA $8

It all boils down to this - I'm right, everyone else is wrong, and anyone who disputes this is clearly a dumbfuck.

Can somebody who knows more than me compare this to 2008 by the numbers? We lost something like $9 - 11 trillion in 2008 but it was localized to American markets and the mortgage bubble...more or less. It was VERY expensive and fundamentally altered some things here in America, but not near as much as it actually should have [ I'm looking at you Wall Street ]. But overall, people still went out to dinner and lived their lives. Kids went to school...yada yada. We aren't there yet, but this has the potential to be the most expensive & long lasting event in human history. The entire world on standstill for months on end with the effects to be felt for years. Many, many trillions world wide by the time its all said and done. That's a big hole to climb out of. Things are going to suck ballz for a while.
