Knowing our local stores in Everett were hit hard, we drove to Arlington Safeway twice to do our last two stock ups. Once to get everythign we need, and another for flour and yeast as we are going to start making bread for our neighbors in a couple weeks. I now have 80#'s of flour, tons of yeast, and oils, etc to make #fuckingshitloads of bread.

I'm already living that JJ lifestyle. Plenty of fish and game stocked up. Got the beard and everything.

I am glad to have two full size freezers in my garage full of fish and game, and lots of veggies left over from this fall's harvest.

Our Bay Area offices closed today, they went to Shelter in Place. I sent 2/3 of my team home, and we'll be doing staggered schedules for those who are willing/able to come back in. I have an engineer who's 70 years old and recovering from throat cancer...he'll be at home for the next month, at least.

I will probably be in the office 2 or 2 1/2 days a week, and working at my home office otherwise.

My folk's called this morning and said they're leaving Palm Springs on Wednesday. A bunch of their Canadian friends have already left. I'm not too concerned about my ammo and food supply as of right now. I have at least a dozen Deer on my acreage on any giving day.

I can take a deer with my bow pretty much anytime but don't anticipate needing to. I just don't want to get down to jackrabbit dutch-oven stew - although that's what the dogs'll get once the 120 lbs of kibbles is gone and I've pressure-cooked the crab bait from the freezer for them.

I have a ton of deer in the green belt behind my house. It would also be pretty easy for me to get one if I need to... but I doubt things will ever get to that point.

It’s also spring so it’s a good time to focus on getting the garden going... maybe that will be what it takes for me to actually take a deer... they ate a lot of my stuff a couple years ago

Deer are all over where i live. I just hand feed them roses with a bat behind my back.

You know, on this very website, there is a hunting board that sometimes contains posts about that very subject. It's almost as if the website designers had thought of that when they birthed this abomination! Crazy I know!!!

I honestly don't give a Fvck about any of this as far as myself is concerned. Is it serious? Damn straight, statistically i am more likely to die a bazillion other ways, especially in my line of work. I am relatively young, healthy, and scared of my ex more than this schit. I have elderly grandparents close to Seattle that i worry about, however, the neighbors have been shopping for them and family has helped alot to minimize exposure. Schit like this should galvanize a nation to help one another, not point fingers, fear monger, and politicise.
