I have long held that MLB seasons are much too long by about 1/2. Human nature is to miss things are not always around or are rare occurrences. Human nature is to get bored of things that are too readily common and frequent. I.e. the Seahawks play one game a week, so it's "special". Reduce the number of games and make them more meaningful. Save pitchers arms. 162 games a year is just ridiculous and unwanted.

80 game regular seasons. Do it.

I will go out on a very short limb and say the M's will be 14-46 this year.

Next year they will be better, this year they will suck, unless they can pull off their usual "we're good for a month", and with 22 games in July.

If they do that, then they may go 29-31

So it looks like a MLB season is going to actually happen after all.

M's first game against the Houston Cheaters this Friday night.

I knew 2020 would get worse and here it is. I'm now convinced that even a thermonuclear war wouldn't stop the M's from sucking. Like War Games (the movie), the only way for them to "win" is by not playing the game at all.

But at the end of day, I get to watch or listen to an actual sportsball game! How cool is that?

BTW - I've gotten a bit more into F1 during this whole no sports chit show. It's an interesting "sport" to learn and follow.

I watched the Junior documentary on ESPN last week. A true reminder about how good him and his pops were, and their love for the game.
