Reminds me of the Trump/Russia collusion conspiracy. Point being that echo-chamber education of the masses is not limited to left-wing / right-wing. Media is power and those that can use it for a political end, will.

I personally believe in absolute truth - but that it's very hard to recognize in media of any flavor anymore. Every good conspiracy theory has a kernel of truth to it - the rest is spin. Used to be journalists would cut through the spin and expose the truth. It was a valuable service. Now the journalists are the ones creating the spin.

Anymore, if you don't have first-hand, observable knowledge of something it's hard to know the truth for certain. That sucks for all of us no matter our political leanings!

Rich does serve a certain entertainment purpose - I like the idea of Rich's ramblings complete with Tenacious Todd on fact-check duties (pro-tip - you could easily have a form-letter response that would handle 98% of the fact-check duties)

In my ideal world, conservatives don't give a single fvck if you smoke weed and liberals will smash in your face if you call them a Socialist. Those words don't mean anything any more.
