Has anyone heard anything more about this angle? It is my guess that he was popping up on some type of Extremist website or network, but again, that is just a guess. The real question is whether he should have been on some type of watch list or not.

It seems what we will find out is that he has some type of mental illness and was taken into the fold by an extremist group, that motivated or somehow made him think that his actions were a good idea. One has to wonder if there were signs out there that were ignored. The biggest being that he bought the gun in the first place, which obviously some people in his family knew about and did not take action in regards to it.

There's no question that he should have been on a list, or that a background check should have prevented him from buying a gun.

Yes there is an irony to “defund police” in that more urban people will buy guns. Defund police was the stupidest thing to say in that moment ever. All those protests completely wasted by coming up with the dumbest “solution” conceivable.

However, I will say that a lot of communities became aware that well over half, some close to 3/4 of their taxes pay for police or sheriff. That is a pretty fuckin big portion with very little oversight compared to all the other government jobs that get the hate from Conservitards.
