I know that the fishing is tough right now but if you fish just hard enough you will catch fish, because everyone on the Kalama is saying that there are no fish in it. all of the boats are putting in at the red barn hole but on Sunday I put in at the slab hole and drifted from there down to modroww and caught five which is more than anyone put together in the last 7 days, so you just have to fish where no 1 else is. lso fish hard.

I bet next time you go there expecting to be the only one it wont be the case. Yes you may have done good but that dosent mean there are more fish just less people, meaning you have no compitition, you got the whole pie not just a small piece. After your post you no longer will be alone.

I also have been catching fish in places were knowone else is fishing but I wont tell where these places are. I prefer to keep catching fish and bieng the only one in those runs.

There were plenty of people on the river you fool its just that everyone was taking the long drift and we took the shortr drift so, just because I said that and that you dont no how to catch fish you shouldnt get pissed.

I agree Timber Man. I caught my fair share of Washington metalheads a couple fo weeks ago, but you won't pry the location of me. The guys were nice enough to let me tag along, and I would like to have the same luck on my next trip. There are no secret rivers anymore, but there are some obscure places that hold fish when others don't. Sharing is great, but why post it to the world. It isn't anyones business but your own, as to how many fish you catch and where you catch them. Off the pulpit now, preparing to watch my New Orelans Saints beat the ViQueens on Saturday.
