O.K., I've got time to go fishing this weekend, either day, and I'm looking for suggestions... gear, methods, places... I'll take anything. I'll probably head out to the Sol Duc, but I'm open to suggestions. Email me if you don't want to post. -N.

Keep in mind that late-returning fish usually don't venture too far upstream ... most are lower-river spawners, so pick your spots accordingly.
If you hit the 'Duc, there are a handful of springers around, and they do love shrimp ... so if you're partial to bait usage, give that a whirl. Otherwise, try fishing some of the faster water with hardware with the current low water conditions. Good luck!

As Bob said most of the fresh fish are gonna be in the lower rivers. Bad thing about that is that the access is limited. If your fishin the bank only a frew places to fish and thats where everybody is gonna be. Been gettin a little more crowded the past couple of weeks. Stoped by lynedecker today and there was over 20 boat trailors. Most were going down the lower Bogie a few down the Duc. Then some went down the Yute. Look for it to be really crowded this weekend.

Thanks guys for the info,
My girlfriend and I went out and fished the Sol Duc yesterday, got there late, so I didn't try to hunt around and find bank access below Leyendecker, just fished the Bark's Hole and further downstream, in a place that has some whitewater. Saw fish rolling occasionally at Barks, but nothing taking. I'll probably be back next weekend, though, and give it another crack.
