Anyone still working the Sound for Silvers or Blackmouth and having any luck?

Fished Area 9 last Friday, but blanked. We were fly fishing, which may explain it. However, there are very few fish showing in the northern part of 9. We did see some fish-- that I took to be bright chum from body shape. But no silvers where we were. Reports from the week previous had lots of fish available. We hit mid-tide and had to buck wind a big part of the day, which might explain our success. There were a few fish on the beach at Bush Point.

Note that blackmouth season doesn't open until the 1st.

Fished Everett to Possession on Saturday. Caught one coho 4lb, and caught and released a couple nice blackmouth. Wish more coho were around. I'm not sure if the run is over out there or not. Marc
