When the pic of the fish above was sent to me by Pat, I thought to myself. I've always wanted one of those huge silvers on my wall. Well, I got my chance to have one done this week with this 23# coho that Andy got here ... he decided he wasn't going to have it mounted so I swapped fish with him (THANKS!) and now I get to have that monster silver mount I've been looking for smile Problem is, the way the silvers seem to keep getting bigger this year, next week we'll probably have one of those 30's smile

you realy gota wonder what kind of growth enhancers they feed the smolts before they release them, we have runs of giant fish we never used to have. ive seen fish in the local zipper river gain 5 pounds in the last few years, somthings "fishy". i know people will say it`s ocean survival but in the "good old days" that meant more fish survived and the fish were the same size for years.

That is one huge silver, i was fortunate to take one today on the Sop that went 21 lbs., MAN and i thought i was gonna brag...not after seeing a couple of those pigs here, good fish gentlemen.
