Hey does anyone know where I can find the Skokomish indians treaty? Its not on their web site and I am alittle ways away to go out to the reservation and get it.

Dougy Jr., try this NW Indian Fisheries Commission website http://www.nwifc.wa.gov/

It has a lot of pages of info. I think you can do a search on it for specific Treaties. Let us know what you find out.

Hey steve thanks for the web site I found the skok webpage but no treaty only law suits. I wounder why they would only put the law suits and not the treaties kinda odd I guess I will just have to request a copy from the tribe or the government. These doc are public information right? well any more help you guys can come up with would be great thanks

It would be interesting to see a copy of the COlumbia indians treaty! I bet it doesn't call for them to get so many more fish!
