I wish I new sooner, I will try to get the time off. It makes me sick all the garbage. Last Friday night I went there fishing and brought a 50 Gal garbage sack, before I left I darn near filled it full and didn't even put a dent in the mess there. I did the same on the Toutle up by the hatchery. I try to bring a garabge sack every time, in fact my 6 year old son usually asks if he can pick up. Anyways how long will you be down there? I'll make it one way or the other.

One of my favorite memory's of the Cowlitz fall fishery was watching one of the locals pickup garbage while he was waitng for everyone to leave so he could fish!!! Of course I joined right in when I saw the garbage sacks. what a great experience that really turned out to be!!!PEACE

I didn't know that this happened. Good to see that progress was made.

The more cleanups the better, I figure. Weekends of course are preferred for those of us 8 to 5 folks, and if we are picking up trash around the folks that are fishing it makes a better impression and it also improves our chances of getting them to help out.

Wish I could but I can't make it down there. Good job to all those that do go.
Don is a kick. He is a funny guy and points out all the *****s that are on the river the day that I uses his shuttle. He also recommends me which plug is hot. Nice guy.
