Where are the reports?

The weather is going to be fantastic. Probably too good for springers. But I'm going anyway.

I'm going Sunday through Tuesday, and I'll let you know how I do!

I'm going to try a new area, for me, down on the Willamette. We'll see how it goes. Here goes another couple hundred bucks. Takes $100 for gas for boat and truck with camper from Yakima. With gas prices going up I'll have to fish closer to home next time.

Thats Fishin'

Seacat, his brother in law, me, and a friedn of mine went today. Caught one with too many fins, above I-205 on the Columbia. Nice fish, over 20 lbs. There were five fish caught within a 1/4 radius of us, maybe 15 boats. Talked to the fish checker on our way back to Seatle, at the Port of Kalama, she had checked four fish for a bazillion boats.

I also fished above 205. We released one with too many fins and I lost one late in the day that straightened out the hooks on a Kwikfish. Overall a slow day out there only saw a couple other fished hooked in the area we were.

Drifted with LittleZoZo yesterday. Fishing was poor. I hooked two steelhead and landed em both. Zozo hooked 4 great northern pikeminnow and landed em all. The fishing sucked but we had a good time and didn't take it too seriously. There's always next time!

Fished between Kalama and Longview Saturday. Saw three fisg caught. All were kept. One was ours on a trolled rainbow spinner. We anchored and fished plugs during the outgoing and didn't touch a fish. Gonna get closer to the ocean next week.
