Just checked the flows and it is running at 17,500 and rising. For the guys that live out there, how does it look in the valley? This should slow the opener if it keeps coming up. The weather looks like it is supposed to become sunny and about 65-70 in the greater Seattle area for the next few days.

I was up on the S/fork of the Stilly yesterday and the river was high and muddy. It didn't clear up until I got up and above Silverton.
There is still a lot of snow on the ground. I don't think that this river will be fishable until the end of June when all the snow melts.
But what do I know, I'm just an old man.

Also the weather that you talk about. It was raining up in the hills and nice down out of them.

The launch was pretty much underwater yesterday. It must have rained hard in the mountains.Might be some upset boaters come Saturday.

The Sky can drop and clear up fast, though.I will still fish if it is high as long as there is some visibilty to the riv.I'm still hopeful it will be fishable.

Holy cr@p, 18.7k and rising an hour after your post. Must have been warm rain on snow. Might need waders on just to get out of the car!

With all the warm weather on the way, I am afraid she is going to be toast for the weekend.

Ran my sled on the Sky Monday morning, lots of water. Color was great and if you work hard and look in the right spots you should be able to do ok. I have to be out of town this weekend so ill miss the zoo of the weekend but should be able to fish neat week and evening or two. good luck and let me know how you do if you go.
