My wife bought me a J. Martini Knife that has a gutting spoon on the handle. My Father-in-Law saw it & asked where I got it. Well appearently it is no longer available. There are other knives out there with gutting spoons on the handle, but not as good a knife as the Martini. I posted a request for information on the Manufactures web site asking for info & am waiting for a reply from that. Beings I am an inpatient Son of a Fisherman. I thought,"OOPS" I have hopes of finding this Knife. "HELP".

Back in the early 90's I worked in a fish cannery in Cordova Alaska. Needless to say there wasn't much salmon after the Valdez spill. So, after 6 weeks I decided to hitchhike home to the good ol' Skagit Valley. Ferry to Whittier, train under the mountain to Portage, a bus ride to Anchorage, a day and a half in the Anchorage airport after the mountain blew, a cab ride to the edge of town, and about a week on the Alcan highway. Anyways, to make a long story short, I brought home two of those fillet knives with the gutting spoon, real nice ones! But, I'll be darned if I know whatever happened to 'em. If you can find where to get a good one let me know.

Yakutat hardware in Yakutat. Any sporting goods store in Sitka. "Frosts". Made in Sweden. Just cleaned a big steelie and an even bigger springer with it yesterday, and it is ready to do its duty again today.

Hey, Mr. Smolt, you hit the nail on the head. That is the knife in question. Thanks, I will check at the Gart Sporting Goods at the SuperMall.

I jused used the best filet knife I've ever seen. Believe it or not, I got it in a knife set I ordered from an informercial. The knife set is called Miracle Blade III. You can get the entire set for $40 including the filet knife. I was amazed at how well the knife worked. See the set here

What you show is a Rapala fillet knife. The Martini blades are marketed by Rapala. Great knife, you're right. Unfortunately, the 2002 catalog doesn't show the spoon on any of the versions, so any you find are back stock.
You're limited to cutting most of the handle off a Goodwill spoon and epoxying the stub into the handle of the knife. I've got one with a wooden handle that might find itself altered soon
If enough people squeak, you might get Normark (the US distributor) to bring it back.
