Summer steelhead rock No rain gear, no waders, no gloves, no cold fingers, no running nose, and no RAIN pissing on me all day long. A full day of fishing can be very enjoyable even if you don’t catch anything. Although with my master skills that never happens.

Summer Steelhead Rock: I have one in the back of my truck. It's roughly cube shaped, about 18 inches to a side. :p I take it with me when I fish the Cowlitz or Reiter Ponds, since there aren't enough native rocks to stand on. That being said, I also like the idea of fishing for 18 hours this time of year, 4am until 10 pm. Fish on... Todd.

Todd The long hours of daylight are great for sure. In the winter it is almost impossible for me to go after work once day light savings time changes. Bobber Down OOOOPPPPS I forgot one of the most important ones.

Leadthrower: You will find the bikinis on the little river near granite falls that lies to the south and rhymes with lilly. I've seen a pic of your mug on this board so don't scare them away I'm in my young thirties but thankfully not balding yet so, there not afraid to flirt with me. A bad experience with a older perverted summer steelheader (like RT or yourself) may scare them off of the river :p So stay away! Maybe someday I'll get a day off and you can invite me out in your boat for a trip on the Sky and I will divulge more. BD

Bobber Down I have never posted a picture of myself on the forum yet, you may be thinking of leadslinger as he stated. I did post a picture of a friend holding a king last week and maybe since I posted the picture you thought that was me. If so granted my friend is ugly. Also I do not have a boat yet so that makes the giving a ride part kind of tough, unless you want to go on my intertube.

Leadheads:
Yes Thrower my mistake, it way your buddy that you took a pic of holding that Sky king, that I was thinking of, and your right I think he would scare the bikinis off of the river.
I remember about 12 years ago I came across a bikini clad solo summer steelheading blonde up around Rieter (back when it was open the entire summer season)that was hotter than a pistol! She even hooked and lost a fish! I have never forgotten her to this day. I always wonder who was the lucky sob that ended up marrying her. The guy probably doesn't even fish.
I think I will stick to the bank rather than in your lap on your floating tube.
Sorry about any cofusion I may have caused between slingers & throwers.

That's fine and dandy for those of you who get to fish summer fish right now But what about those of us who have to wait until September to get our crack at them ??? This photo of Fishgal with a "snagged one" kinda tells our story of "summer steelhead rocking" ... But at least this one had a little more girth Thanks for the tease!!

Bob
When was that photo taken? I thought Alaska's summers followed ours here in Washington.
