I don't know how long this has been going on, but yesterday on the John Carlson show, he had a guest from PETA who was involved in writing a letter to the WA State Parks dept. to get them to close fishing in all 95 WA state parks. This may be old news, but it's the first I've heard of it. John gave out the number for the Parks Dept if anyone is interested in voicing your opinion to them. 360-902-8500

I am always hearing PETA is trying to stop this and PETA is trying to stop that. Have they ever been successfull at anything yet or are they usually just considered a joke.

I would find it hard to believe that they are always unsuccessful. They have too much money and too many whacko follwers of their religion to have not succeeded at anything. However, I can't think of anything.

They are total whackos. A lady called up on the show yesterday and asked the guy from PETA if he came upon a starving cat and a starving childk, which would he help. He said that he didn't know.

WOW, they really have there priorities straight I see.

Peta did get trapping banned in this state. Course now they a whining about moles in their green little yards.

The other day in the news there was a story about some guy, who dressed his dogs in women’s lingerie, had sex with them, and then killed the dogs.

Bet it was a PETA member gone postal.

yeah but he wasnt just cooking he meat. he killed it by burning it. As disgusting as it seems, if you want to eat cat, thats your business. He just wanted to kill it.

True, I should clarify though. You can trap, just not use leg or body gripping traps or snares. Which effectively means no trapping. The state has had a 200% increase in nuisance animal complaints since this. The only way you can trap with grip style trap is if you try every other method to scare off the animal. Can you see Weyerhauser fencing all their trees in and buying dogs to run around the woods? That is what peta excpects them to do. I think they should put peta people in the woods and let them chase the critters away. BUT they haver to live off the land. Should be easy for those ground browsers, unless the winter is hard.
