showed up today at my usual hole and lo and behold, there's a guy trying to unhook a nice 50 inch sturgeon he had snagged in the tail. must have been up feeding on the carcasses tossed in by the netters...pretty neat spectacle

I often target sturgeon in 6-8' of water in the Columbia. They feed on the mud shrimp and clam beds. I've cut open sturgeon to find their bellies full of clam shells.
