Any news on the Boat and AM&S ?
Did they take care of you yet?

I have nothing really new to report. I was able to buy a new winch assembly from EZ Loader for my new trailer. That is a good thing. I am waiting on AS&M's insurance company to get their act together. I will be placing a call today.

One thing that nags at me about your boat is if A&M knew it was missing before you dropped by the store, how come they didn't notify you?

That's the point that sticks in my mind.

Also, are you asking to be compensated for the period of time you aren't able to use your boat because of slow insurance payoff? They should pick up the tab for that also.

AS&M did not call me because they thought I had picked up my boat.

I am not trying to get compensated for the lost use of my boat. I think that would be considered PAIN and SUFFERING. You know how the dollar figures add up for PAIN and SUFFERING. I am not trying to gouge any one here. I just want to be compensated for lost/stolen equipment.

I could just as easily go and buy a brand new boat and be back on the water tomorrow if I wanted to.

I went shopping for a boat down there in July, but ended up buying one over in Yakima in September. Wasn't impressed by A&M... and your boat being stolen made me wonder if there was more there. Guess I should give them the benefit of the doubt.

Anyways... I selected a Lund over a Smokercraft. It looked sturdier.

In my opinion, they DID drop the ball. How about a courtesy call since they do have a work order? Poor customer service.

Things are starting to take a positive spin with AS&M and my claim. Information is being exchanged and I hope, they do too, to get this wrapped up next week.

I still need to water test my boat after I get a new winch assembly (Thursday) put on my new trailer. That will be my project this weekend.
