Sorry I didn't get back sooner 43. I was out all day Friday and Wife b-day today. Anyway. The fish are stacked in there! It's just crazy! I was refering to just North of the launch(snagger's cove). You can't miss 'em. They are staying in water about 5' deep. I don't know what's more frustrating though. Seeing fish everywhere and not catching them or not seeing any fish at all??? We did manage to keep two, actually my bud kept his. I let the few I got go. Had a couple break me off two. Man, those are some fighters!! There are a lot of boots up there but there are still a lot of cromers and you can tell the difference when you get one on. Most people are up there snagging though. I tossed Blue foxes,(blue/ crome) really I tossed every color at them but it seems as if the one I got to hit them where hitting blue and crome more often. One word of advise, it's slow fishing although they are everywhere! Got our fish on the outgoing tide. Alomst died out there at high.
While up there Friday. This guy pulls up in this 14' older black boat. Looks as if he painted it himself. He goes immediatly to work with his B-bombs 10' swings and all. He was looking like he was giving his love handles a great work out. He yards in about 6 fish in 30min then takes off. It was a real show up there!!!! It sure would be easy for WDFW to make some good coin up there.
All together it was fun. When everywhere you look there are 6,7 or 10 fish jumping at a time it's a great show. Going to go up tomorrow after work with the Video camera. Man, I saw some big, bright pigs jumpin' it nothing else it's a great show!!! Good luck. And if you find what the heck they are hittin' on with any regularity don't forget me....
