I just noticed this forum and I guess that I have to say that when you get older you seem to lose your thing for going out fishing. Or maybe it's that when you retire you lose all of your fishing buddies.

It is hard to come up with anybody that fishes the same hours that us old people do. When ever I get up and I'm in the mood to go fish. It just isn't any harder than that. Or maybe I'm just to old to get out by my lonesome any more.

Not me! If I lived in Marysville instead of over here in the desert I would fish every day there are Steelhead in the river! And I've always preferred to fish alone.
