1) When packing your fish freeze then up slightly before vacuming. Reason for this is you suck up the juices through the end of the bag and you will seal it with juice in your sealing area. You will find that your seal will fail more often then if it is clean and dry were you are sealing. If filleting your fish they lay flat and stack easier.
2) If doing fillets put something over the bones in the upper half of the fillet or they will poke throught your bag causing failure( folded paper towel).

If you don't want to partially freeze fish before sealing fold up a sheet of paper towel and place between fish and where you will seal, all the way across the bag, to absorb water which will get pulled into the sealing area.

Like stated above, avoid liquid in the seal area when vacuuming. I pat the fish dry before placing them into the bag. Also, avoid tossing around the frozen bags as this may puncture them (they're somwhat thin), let in air, and result in freezer burn.

I have to agree with rainbow on this one.
What I do is fold a paper towl in thirds or quarters depending on my bag size and I place this about 2 inches inside the opening.
Catches any extra liquid.
