I Took my neice Amanda out fishing at Kitsap Lake a couple of weeks ago.

It was raining out but she still insisted on fishing... so out we went...

Had a great day on the water, caught and released lots of trout... (she thought that was real cool letting the fish go.... hey, you gotta train'em young)

anyway here's a picture of the beaming face that will brighten any rainy day

Not sure, but it might be a winterrun or resident rainbow.... wink

Just kidding

Yup... Its a cutt,

Gotta hand it to the Game Department, They made a real nice fishery there at Kitsap. Stocked it with both rainbows and cutthoat...

Its a fun little lake in the winter and spring... At least till the waterskiers and jet skiers stir it up...

Oh and the toxic algea bloom rears its head... babble

Outstanding! Kids love going fishing regardless of the weather. I am sure she'll remember that day for a long time to come.

My 8 year old daughter is a blast in the boat... Been teaching her starting the engine, driving, Rules of the Road... Not to mention she usually out fishes me!
