So that's a Steelhead! I thought they were just mythical beasts spoke of in hushed tones in dark taverns. My efforts are starting to feel like snipe hunting lately! Way to go.

After looking at that pic again I would say that looks more like 30lbs to me. Hard to say but that badboy is huge!

I have seen fish with "shoulders"  But are you sure that ain't a humpy!  Nice fish man! And thanks for putting him back to make more football shaped babies. Hey CFM if you read this this is why we want to save are native steelhead and not replace them with 41"x.......17".......brats.

NO WAY!! That Steelie is HUGE!!! Thats all I need, I've been fishless for 5 months! Hopefully will tighten' up tomorrow, going to check out either the Kalama or the Cowlitz.
