I watch when I'm around, and the fishing's just not gonna happen on any given Sunday.

My guys? I'm OK with the Labontes, I like a couple of the young guys, like Stewart, Nemechek and Harvick, but I'm pretty old school, I actually root for Martin and Rudd.

Fish on...

Todd.

Hands down, the most pure, unadulterated, passion, Jimmy Spencer!

Sweats, stutters, gets mad, steps on toes, makes an ass of himself, drives his guts out.

A story Derricke Cope told me about Jimmy at Charlotte:

Thursday afternoon (more than a couple of years ago) a guy came into Jimmy's garage and told him there was a guy waitin for him outside the gate and that he thought the guy had a gun.

Later that evening, they were all getting ready to lock up and go to the motel (no $1,000,000 coaches then) and one of the crew asked Jimmy what was he gonna do about the guy, with the gun.

Jimmy's response; Well, I guess the first thing I better do is find me a gun.

As it turned out, the guy had gotten rowdy(drunk) and the track officials called the cops and they took him away. But the deal is Jimmy didn't call the cops, he just figured out what he thought he needed to handle the situation, and went on with his business.

It all boils down to this - I'm right, everyone else is wrong, and anyone who disputes this is clearly a dumbfuck.

That was a pretty good race. Got a little Formula One (good race there, too) last night and an exciting NASCAR race today. Not bad when you can't be fishing.

thats a good way to end up in jail, you can't do much racing locked up in the "gray bar hotel"

bri,bri,bri.....you should know by now, that nobody but you likes Gordon. Oh yea I forgot about sitting bull. I guess that makes two of you. As for me I like Tony Stewart. I know he's about as disliked as Gordon though.

Jimmie Johnson needs Sugar Mama Racing to float him a loan. If he'd of had an engine to finish the race,I'd have had a gooooood day.

I am a Gordon fan too. I jumped on that bandwagon before there even was a Gordon bandwagon. Probably one of the most tallented drivers on the track and can get a decent finish with a crappy car.

Tony Stewart (also very tallented) should paint tears on the front of his car cause he is such a crybaby. Same with Krusty Wallace. If those guys don't win I 'm happy.

How about Curt Bush. That guy is nuts. I like him because he is one of those fearless drivers that drive as hard as they can and somethimes makes the mistake of overdriving the car. He is very fast. If he lives to be 25 I will be surprised.

I also was a # 3 fan, can't get behind any of the new guys - he never wins but I like awsume Bill from Dawsonville!!!!! Don't spend much time watching it, but try and catch Daytona and the other big tracks..

My dad would not buy me a mini-bike when I was a kid, let alone a NASCAR ride... He also could have givin me a cool name like "Dick Trickle"

Tony Stewart??? really??? come on guys thats WWF stuff and that is for rednecks

I've got 60 inches of widescreen and surround sound that throws Nascar all around the neigborhood! I was an Earnhardt fan back in the Wrangler days, now I just watch to see who wins not rootin' for really anyone.

I've been to the Vegas and Fontana races a few times, great to see in person. Stared at King Petty through the binocs sittin' on the tool wagon. Went for a FedExCart race once, they are so much faster it is unreal.

Yep, motors on the brain, oil in the blood.

Hell of a finish today, I like seeing the also-rans win, I get tired of the Gordens, Earnhardts, Martin's and the other 3 or 4 who always seem to end up in the winners circle.
