Just took some time off work and am hoping to try some new fishing areas. My boat is a 171/2' smokercraft wiyh a prop. Looking for some springer action(if still open), or sturgeon or ? Heading up to Neah Bay this weekend, but would like to try out some other areas from C/R to the skagit. Looking for some local knowledge and a chance to try out some quiet waters during the week. Anyone want to go fishing?

I think you can try your prop on lower Cowlitz or Drano. Seems like some springer action in that area. As far as finding "quiet water" good luck eek May I suggest Alaska! oh wait, forget it. It is worse than here laugh

Any water on the the weekdays is "quiet" compared to the weekends. The few rivers I have been on during the weekends, are almost as crowdwd as I-5. Was thinking that Drano might be a place to check out. Because I have a prop., would rather be with somebody who knows the tides and bars in the area.
