I can't seem to figure out when it's open and when it's closed, and when it's only catch and release.

I'm only interested in the area from Astoria to the I-5 bridge. That is too tough for me!

If anybody has it figured out and would help me out I'd appreciate it.

Its open to the retention of sturgeon below the wauna powerlines which are near cathlamet. Catch and release above the powerlines. I think the lower river closes in July.
