Oh..no.....not again, did you all feel the small earthquake? Felt it here in Gig Harbor, thought the kids were fighting and had slammed the door. I had enough of the last one, don't need another like it.

I thought that's was what it was.

I live on the top floor of a four story apartment building and sometimes if somebodies washer is unbalanced it will feel like a quake. This shaking was noticebly shorter than a wash cycle. laugh

...and the 'Scare the Crap out of Washingtonians/Interview with a Trembler' media circus has begun!

It was just a typical minor small earthquake that are actually fairly common around here.

Why our local news stations find it necassary to make such a do about nothing baffles me! confused

Sparkey, I'm with you. Leave it to our local news to make it bigger than what it was actually. These type of Quakes are common. Some are felt and some aren't. Heck there was a quake around MT Olympus back on the 25th of April, that measured 4+ and no one below that felt it. Nor was it televised. Go figure.

I knew without a doubt that it was an earthquake when i felt a vibration under my seat that couldn't have been caused by someone slamming a door in the house.

It all boils down to this - I'm right, everyone else is wrong, and anyone who disputes this is clearly a dumbfuck.

Saw on last night's news they were interviewing citizens who were "surprised" by the earthquake. Now, real news would be an interview with citizens who weren't surprised by it. Who the h#ll knows when an earthquake is coming so that they won't be surprised by it.

I probably shouldn't be "surprised" at the lack of intelligent thought processes in commercial television.

Sincerely,

Salmo g.
