"Land Purchase(s): The tribe is involved in the investigation a number of land purchases for a variety of tribal needs. These include: 1. 160 acres of wetland south and adjacent to the Reservation. 2. WSDOT property on highway was recently purchased this year with the goal of tribal community support. A wastewater treatment facility has been discussed as a viable option . 3. Sheldon property-upwards of 240 acres + has been investigated as an opportunity for the Tribe to develop into a residential village. 4. WDFW access to the river from Highway 101 just south of the bridge is investigated. 5. Other property may involve fee lands forest designated areas, or transfer of individual trust to tribal trust. When the tribe "buys" something that really means the US tax-payers are buying it and giving it to them.

I just would hate to lose access to the river this way.
