Fished Redondo this morning. We had a pretty good morning. We used Coho Killers and Coyotes behind Hot Spots.

Jason with two humpies.

Yours truely with a king and a humpie.

Off the water by 10 AM. thumbs

Congratulations on your success this season, Easy Limits! My husband and I typically fish the mouth of the Puyallup and this year have not had much luck. We won't be able to afford downriggers until next season - in your opinion, would we be able to fish deep enough using a medium sized deep six in the Redondo area?
Thanks!

Sure. The king we caught today was caught 40' down in 80' of water. Two of the humpies were caught at 55' and the third at 80'.

Before I had 'riggers I used an 8oz banana sinker in front of my flasher and lure with pretty good success. The morning hours will be best because the fish are close to the surface.
