We put it to the Pinks last night south of Mukilteo, fishing was HOT for about a good 45 minutes around 5:30 when we boated 6 of our 8 fish one after the other. The pinks seemed to be tightly schooled, all over the general shipwreck area in water 250+. Lots of other boats hooking up too.

The last two fish were a little harder to come by as My buddy Andy kept losing the last fish to fill our limit at the boat. frown laugh

All fish caught between 25-45 feet down on the standard hotspot-pink hoochie steup. We could not get a fish to bite headed with the tide, only against it????

By the way- When we went out the checker at Mukilteo had a sign up at ~4:00pm that said 24 boats, 16 silvers, 86 pinks!

Also- if any of you get F&H News, Andy (Mr Coho Mojo) made the cover on the latest issue with a nice buck Silver. Congrats!

Here are some shots from the outing:

Hi Sky Guy, I see you have a Gregor. I am thinking about getting one. Are you happy with it? Is there a dealer somewhere around here? Nice fish too! Thanks. Mike

Erndog- Come on up! ....the water is fine:)

Mike, I love my Gregor. It has an all-welded hull, no rivets. A deep and wide draining transom that works great as a spot to clean fish, prepare bait. The boat handles rough water better than most crafts of that size I have been in because of the deep clipper V bow. Oh, and I top out with a 40hp Mercury at 43mph.....not too shabby.

I have a '94 seahawk anniversary edition, but it looks like the current model they call the MX-510.

The only Washington dealer I am aware of is in Ellensburg. I bought mine from a private seller.

It is purely a guy's fishing boat. When I brought the wife and daughter out on Hood canal last week, they weren't too comfortable cause it's a 2 seater...and I heard those magic words. Are you guys ready?

"Hunny, we need to get a more comfortable boat...soon."

Thanks Sky Guy, I appreciate the info. I have a 16 foot Starcraft, but I am looking at getting something bigger that I can run around the sound, and the Straits. My buddy has a 14 food Gregor that we took to Coldwater lake at Mt. St. Helens. We got caught in some pretty rough water and it handled better then my 16 footer would have.

I hope your fishing success continues. f

Mike
