I dont trust olsens resorts postings.... Neah bays either for that fact.... they are in the business of getting you to come there to spend your money. Somebody from this board had to have fished them this weekend. Hopefully, they'll steer you straight. I took the weekend off, sorry. I always favor Neah Bay over sekiu. half the boats, twice the fish.

I fished Sekiu yesterday ( SUN). There was 6 of us fishing 3 rods. We caught probably 40 - 50 salmon in about 4 hours. We wound up with 17 pinks and 7 coho. We let quite a few unmarked coho go plus 3 kings. We were running flashers and hoochies with a strip of bait off downriggers anywhere from 35 to 70 feet. Color of flaahers and hoochies didn't seem to matter.

Fished Fri. Sat. Sun. out of Olsons. What a blast. My wife and I fished from the bay to the Shipping lanes with nothing but luck. Sometimes even throwing a bait in next to the fish being played next to the boat and picking up another. the fishing was hot the entire weekend. biggest was a 10# silver. Never pulled out the downriggers. just 4 oz. lead 30" leader and 25 pulls. a dozen doubles. none the less limits. And a 25# king. (it hurt releaseing that one). Heading back the weekend after Laborday for the big hooknose

Fished thursday and friday. Same as the others, tons of fish. Landed over 50 in four hours with one pole. Stopped short of my pink limit because I was feeling bad about all the coho I was releasing. I got bored because it was to easy.

Same as the others Thur & Fri 95 fish to the boat between 3 of us. Try fly's if your targeting silvers, surface to 30', they love em. Lots of pinks there now.
