Appreciate your post recently on leader lengths. It' obvious on a spoon what the leader length is (from the end of the swivel on the flasher to the ring on the spoon)When you are using a double hook set up, what do you consider the"leader length"? From the end of the swivel on the flasher to the head of the hootchie, gsbt, or fly? Or to the end of the second hook? Or somewhere else? Thanks in advance for your answer.

AS,

To simplfy all all leader formulas, I measure from the flasher's edge (not swivel) to the back of the lure I am using (not hook(s) on all lures. I consider the swivel and ring an extention of the leader.

GST recommends measuring to the nose of the fly; however, simply add 4 inches to the overall length. This will still put you at their recommeded leader lengths.

Hope this helps!
