I have been reding Fishing and Hunting News for years and the past two years I've read of a way to rigg a small green or chartuse squid behind a dodger. It uses a 6/0 black octapus hook. The author says that this is part of the presentation but dosn't what it dose. I don't think I will ever try this but has any one ever used this? What dose the 6/0 black octapus hook do?

So the mini squid is bent? I'm starting to see how this works. I'm still going to stick with fishing the estuaries with the bug rod for them.
