A little early here, but was wondering who stays around here during that weekend. Just thinking here, back in my young physical days i do the ol'turkey bowl / tackle football deal. Maybe for laughs and giggles we try to get together on a Friday/Saturday and have something to do with fishing. Any ideas? I'm sure with all of us we could come up with a pretty fun idea. Think about it. We have plenty of time. Even meet up afterwards for a bite or a beer .

Thats usually right around the time I like to start fishing Blackmouth. I think it would be great to get out on the sound for some of that Friday that weekend.

Sorry. Thanksgiving Day my dad, brother, and I go Chum fishing. It's tradition. Come to think of it, we also Chum fish the days that follow!

Got to get out and chase them mean nasty chums, gets the arm in shape for steelhead season, or hit the salt for black mouth.

Well, since family is always in the Seattle area, that's were I will be, so I would love to get together for a little chum, early steelhead, blackmouth fishing.

Tradition in my family is to go out early to see if a Thanksgiving steelie can be caught, and if there is a keeper, then a phone call to stop the turkey is made, and steelhead is had for Thankgiving dinner.

We've eaten a lot of Turkey in the years, but many steelhead have been consumed, too.

We have an informal "Turkey Bowl" blackmouth derby in and around Eagle Harbor each year the day after Thanksgiving. Generally have 8-10 boats, lots of fun.

Ron, thats a no brainer . I know you'll be home. I'm looking see what others are doing. Maybe have ouselves a little derby or some type. By the way, have ya hit the Green yet? I'm thinking tomorrow after work. I'll get in touch with ya.
