Anyone been on the Green lately? Anything being caught?

How's it look for the weekend?

I drove over it today. The river looks great. The guys ive talked havent seen any steelhead yet, but the upper river(below whitney) is thick with chum.

I was at Metzler Park on Monday. The water was great. There were some Chum present but the fishing was only fair. No sign of any steelhead.

I picked up a winter fish sunday, fished today and only hooked chums. The river is getting clearer every day, but its still in great shape.

I hit the upper Green yesterday and picked up a descent summer hen on eggs under a float. Water was at 850 and pretty clear, a tad fast. Its at 750 right now, Perfect no matter where you go. Also saw some nice native silvers making there way up. Strawberry patches are loaded with chum and silvers. I'll be back up there tomorrow for sure.

Happy Thanksgiving!!!

I stopped by Flaming Geyser today and saw two guys with a nice pair of steelhead walking back to their truck.

Floated the green today....no winter fish to be seen or heard of. Still lots of chum and lots of snaggers.
