Anybody see what the sky looks like today I know on sat didnt look like it would be fishable today but my neighbor told me that it has improved a lot as of last night. Anybody what the conditions look like

Looked at it yesterday at around 6:30 PM at Lewis St and it was just starting to think about adding some green color to the brown water. When I just went over the 522 bridge I could see the island down by the rock face that I couldn't see yesterday at 6:15 PM which means it dropped a lot last night.

I'd say get on it!

The Sky dropped at least a foot on Monday and still on the drop.

I think the sky is the river of choice. Thank guys I didnt want to drive five minutes to find out for myself this evening. lol.

Water is a tad high but on the drop and color was not bad. We fished from the wallace down and managed a couple summer brats and a native winter fish. Good luck!

I started to go in my drift boat but could not find any one else to go and dont like the idea of leaving the boat while hitching a ride back to the truck. luck for me my buddy alex called and said he was taking his new smokercraft out at noon. we drifted and plunked plugs for one hook up that i lost at the boat. Iam just glad not to work today. the river was dropping and clearing up nicely when i left at 4pm

what do you do if you are in a drift boat and dont have another person to go get the truck?

Tom, with two of us we've always just packed everything up in the car and both of us gone up to pick up the tow rig so we don't have to make two trips. I have to admit I've been nervous (moreso now with my own boat!) but it's always there when we get back.

I did the opener on the Sky last night after work I mainly fished the mouth of the wallace up. Caught a spawner native that was about 12lbs had a fish on that just wouldnt give up I never saw it I fought it for about 10 minutes and to no avail. I wouldnt doubt it if it was a big king. They are in the wallace so they are in there just waiting for the 16th

Answer: Have a wife as nice as mine. My buddy baled on me yesterday so my wife followed me to the Ben Howard take out, left her car then took me to sultan, helped me unload my cat then took my truck and trailer back to the take out then off to work. What a gal huh?
