I guess that better than buying a lug nut for an F-14, they probably cost about the same..

Hey-
Let's hope it actually gets spent on doing something good for the water and fish, not into someone's million dollar home..... No. I'm not implying that this tribe does that. I am referring to the Hood canal scandal, where the managers built huge houses and bought cars with funds clearly identified as non-personal use $$ (I can't remember all of the details)....

According to the article Locke helped with the application of the federal grant. Why hasn't the WDFW gotten any of these??

At least the tribe had the desire to apply for it and help the resource.

Hoepfully it doesn't go to "other" things. Thats actually pretty rare. There's ALOT of politics in the tribes and if one side does something like that you can bet the other side will be blowing the whistle on them.

There are a lot of tribes/watershed groups getting grant bigger then that one.
This is just a drop in the bucket, I’ve been working on projects worth a lot more $$$
All the projects below are Tribe driven:

Steelhead Haven Landslide Remediation
Lower Pilchuck Floodplain Restoration
Hazel Hole ELJ
Stillaguamish Estuary Marsh Enhancement Project
Stillaguamish Riparian Restoration Crew
