on sunday while fishing edmonds a white open boat center consel cut directly accross our stern about 30 mph and caught our surface line that was not out far and spooled our rod and broke it. they were yelled at but would not stop and hightailed it as fast as they could towards bainbridge. one was wearing an orange rain top and the other was wearing yellow rain top. does anyone know this boat or see it happen. if anyone has any info on these two fishermen i will reward you with an open seat on any river of your choice and i will fish you till you get fish. they broke a very nice rod of mine.

and as a reminder please dont go as fast as you can in the fishing grounds surounded by hundreds of other boats. it is very discourteouse

Man, that sucks! Frickin' idiots! If they spooled ya, then they probably got mono wrapped up in their prop....serves 'em right!

There are so many out there that seem to pick a course and they aren't going to deviate for anything. I especially like the a holes who almost swamp you with their wake and then they wave. I sometimes can't help myself but to wave back with only one finger. And there's always the guys at top trolling speed both in back and nobody steering. Probably the same guys. Or how about the ones running full out in the dark, bow in the air, through the crowds at Seiku. It's amazing there aren't more boating accidents.

Sorry to hear that Lupo. I like to think that most of these people that run through people trolling are just clueless. On the other hand I think of some of them do it on purpose because for one reason or another they just don't like people fishing.

di&# heads like that usually get a good case of carma. sorry to hear about your gear, lets hope they broke theirs when getting out of the boat.

One of my personal favorites are the guys that put the boat on a GPS track then get mad if you are in the way and they want to pass.
