Looking to buy a new drift. Unsure about aluminum or fiberglass? What is the best boat for the buck? Anyone know anything about the Hyde pro series? Looks like a nice boat. Looking for input from people that have drift boats. Thanks.

I have had alumaweld, willie and glass(hyde combo)The hyde rowed easiest but the gunnel was a little fragile on the hyde and the gaurd get's water in it and the glue weakens and it will come off.It is a bad design.I would suggest rowing the one you like first, then decide.I like my willie, the resale value on a willie seems better than the others.

I've got a Hyde aluminum pro and I love it. I'd spend the dough again in a heartbeat. If your looking at Hyde, get all the storage you can. Also give serious consideration to the UHMW bottom.... It's slicker than snot. I have been extremely happy.

This is the only boat I've had... so I'm biased. I'll be honest though, I can't Imagine a boat being any easier to row. It' doesn't draw much water, and it turns on a dime.... When I get the itch for a new one, I'l be buying another Hyde.
