Today, after more then 2 months i got my rod back from lamiglas. It was a G1312 that i bought the butt for a dollar at a garage sale. All they had to do was give me a new top section and it took more then 2 months!!!! Oh well the wait was worth it cause this rod is figgen sweet.

I'm confused. Did you buy only a 1/2 a rod at a garage sale, then send it in to be replaced?

That's what he said Dave...Does that qualify as a Lamiglas "customer"? Sounds like a pretty good deal that they responded at all.

GP: I will wait to hear his response, but it does NOT sound like a customer to me.

I am in no way authorized to speak for Lamiglas, but if I were them I sure wouln't replace a rod for someone who didn't purchse a whole rod.

SilverSlayer:

Before anyone jumps to conclusions...

Are you meaning to say you sent the butt to Lami and they matched it up with a top section that you paid for?

From your wording, it is a bit confusing...

Any chance the Dead Head paid for the upper section?
