Talked to a customer of mine who lives up there and he said,"They are so thick you can walk across them"

There may be some Coho in the Hoko. WDFG doesn't show it as getting smoltie plants anymore. Good place for granola munchers, etc to wet a line.

"Good place for granola munchers, etc to wet a line."

Does that mean it's shallow water and a good place to wade in your Birkenstocks?

Yeah, it's real shallow in most places during late summer most years, as in dry (lower river).

It was real, shall we say, touristy when I went there several years ago and I felt like a real sucker for going so far out of my way. I think that's why alot of dudes end up going there- it so far out of the way and they think they are the first ones to discover it on a map.

I had family that helped build the prison and I got to go up there and hang over Xmas when I was a kid- BooYa!
