I saw a NIB Bantam 50 sell for $147 about 2 weeks ago.

There are alot of people that love those Bantam 50's.

Thrasher, I just happened to have seen the auction for the one selling for $147.00. I have three of them and thought at that price maybe I should sell one or two and buy some more Charter Specials. It was there, and I did see it. It was about 3-4 weeks ago. Just to help you with your search. Item 330092767582, sold on March 4th for $117.50, the guy who paid $147.00 should have waited. But I feel this is only a sign of the times since they don't make this fine reel any longer. You are holding GOLD.

I saw the one too for $147 and thought who ever bought must have wanted it real bad. I like my Bantam 1000 Plus reels! Same as the Bantam 50 but you can disengage the drag and use it as a knucklebuster... got to love that.
