http://www.nme.com/news/led-zeppelin/31084I would register and, if I won, would make a fortune on EBAY however they claim they will cancel any tickets posted on online auction sites. I wonder how they are able to do that?

Bonham's son is playing the drums. It's Bonham's DNA so I guess it can be called a reunion.

Yea, I saw her on some infomercial blubbering away about how low her self esteem got when she woke up and realized that she was a fat wife of a has been rock star.. it was touching I tell ya. Then she drank some kind of herb crap and presto !! her self esteem was back.
But I gotta admit, some of my first yankees had her planted in my head.. or Marsha Brady..

Sol, Eddies not dead he just smells funny but he is still playing guitar for VH. Wolfgang VH (his son) is playing bass, replacing Michaell Anthony for the reunion tour. Later-T

TBJ, Thanks for gettin the story right on EVH. I was a proud papa last spring when my 10 year old son did a report on Eddie as one of the most influential musician of the 20th century. Jimmy Page must look like warmed over shiat now?

Valerie has lost a ton of weight on Jennie Craig.

I read that the German rock critics are now calling the codge groups " Wrinkle Rock". They have written harsh reviews of the Stones, Aerosmith, The Who, among others. I don't really care to see any of the reunion tours. I have never been a Robert Plant fan. His voice grates on me. At 61, I'm tired of the same old songs by these guys going thru the motions. Give me a good blues man or Reggae anytime.
Here's part of a review from the Germans:
"The question is 'why are they bothering?'," said Harald Peters, culture editor and music critic of the newspaper Welt am Sonntag. "Some of these groups are just plain burned out. Others are just old and boring.
"They're getting torn to shreds in reviews. I'm not saying all of them should have stopped at 40. But with some, it's so bizarre and you wonder why. Do they need the money? Didn't they get an education? Can't they do anything else for a living?"

So they must really be hard on the Scorpions.. I saw that GERMAN wrinkle rock band a couple years ago and they had the suck knob turned up full blast.

Of any of those bands Iron Maiden has held up the best. And maybe Rush. I'd go see either of them. I'd recommend Dweezil Zappa in November. He's playing his dad's music with an all star band(Vai,Bozzio, etc.) . It's refreshing, and well done. I miss Frank Zappa. I wish he was still here, making brilliant music.

You need to see this then. He played damn near 4 hours and he's GOOD. As good as Frank? Hell who is? He's as good as anyone out there that would do a show like this. I think this will be a yearly ordeal. They did a live dvd of the Roseland show.
