It says model 1912 on the barrel 20 gauge pump 5 digit serial number any winchester collectors on here. It was made in 1913 according to the serial number.

No vent rib, it shoots the old shorter shells. (maybe 2 3/8)
Interested buyers or knowledgeable collectors, give opinions on value or where to find value.

Its been in my family since 1941, but I am tired of having a gun floating around that I can't shoot. And no one in the family is interested in the "history of the gun"

Hey PW....
Here's a link to Greg Martin Auctions. I'm not certain what this shotgun sold for but if you look check out the site, the actual sale price may be posted.

Same gun, but mine is way older. I am pretty sure it shoots 2 3/8ths

So here the specs on the shotgun, Its a Model 1912, 5 digit serial number. Second year gun (made in 1913). Its a 25 inch barrel. The wood is great, the gun shows very little use, action is tight. All of the screws are good.

If there are any model 12 collectors on here, it world be a nice addation. I don't shoot much, Have never shot this gun, the last time it was in the field was in the late 70's for a family pheasant shoot outside Stockton CA.

The bluing is aged but there are no real flaws. The stock case in in bad shape its a breakdown type case.

Great shotgun! I grew up on that gun. Was my grandmothers, and grandpa had a matching 16 and 12. ga!

At one point in my childhood, I striped that gun down to every last part and cleaned/lubed it. Thing is still smooth like butter today!

Grandpa eventually sold the 16 ga, my uncle has the 12 ga. and I still have that 20 ga.

I love the Model 12's.

Not interested in another one though, sorry.
