I have tried hard all year with no physical sucess, lots of close calls but no meat in the freezer. My last chance will be 12/27 - 12/29, so any pointers on where the stupidiest of deer hang out on the west side would be greatly appreciated. I thought about hitting Riffe Lake out of Mossyrock by boat, but have never been down there. Sounds like Vail is closed to any road access and my only spot there is too far to walk or mountain bike. Please help this venison deprived bowhunter

a little late I know......but don't chase reports. Pick one area and work it and learn it. Too many people in hunting and fishing chase reports when the reality is they would have done better learning one area. Hunt the area you know the best and good things will come to you

Thanks for the words of wisdom, you are absolutly correct time in the field is the only real way to be sucsessful. Next year will be the year, I have scouted and hunted some really nice areas and wil be back there in the fall. In the mean time I sure hope nothing runs in front of my car....
