1989 toyota 4x4 ext. cab pickup. i live up the satsop. had the aberdeen transmission place check it out,he drove it all the way to westport for unknown reasons, then he brings it back almost empty on gas and says he doesnt know whats wrong with it, but it will cost 400 just to take it apart to check it out, then to rebuild bout 14-1600 bucks. Thinkin about just going to a junk yard, only thing is u dont know what ur getting, they could be selling u a broken transmission. 4 banger or 6? got manual hubs or ADD(no hubs)? i'm a toyota guy, i might be able to send you in the right direction...
