Yes John, I'll Fight with you!!!!!!! John looked great (as always), his message of a strong America, and keeping guard against future attacks....definitely caught my attention. Creating jobs, by building more Nuclear plants, drilling for oil... Vote for John McCain....:).....It's time for change. Mf

You really like those tracking polls, eh ?
Show me a path to 270, 'cuz state by state he's in a bit of a hole...........
I've asked conservatives on several different boards to show me McCain't's path to 270, and I've yet to get even a response, must above their respective mental; abilities.
Go ahead, take a crack at it MF, but don't be surprised when you can't make the Electoral Math work for McCain't.................
Caribou Barbie...................Shrub With T!ts........................... Come on KK don't be so naive............ History alway's repeats its self............ We'll watch it together, it'll be funner that way.......... Mf

McCan't looks like he is getting old, talks in a low squeekie voice, and probably wont make it another 4 years. I think Obama should give him another medal and set up a fund to build a memorial for him. Just because he served his country doesn't make him the best candidate.

Missed it. Finished grooming 180 feet of ditch. 4" of variation along the way, so I'll live with that.

McCant is old and out of touch with reality and Carribou Barbi while she may be a Gilf, is a Gillnetters wife and lacks the experience needed to run the country when Old John dies in a year or two. I honestly dont care for Obama a whole lot but once again it comes down to voting for who I think is the less of two evils. He (McCant) had so much make up on tonight to try to make him look younger that it made him look even older. As conniving as the Bush administration has been for the last 8 years I am really surprised that McCant was the best thing the Republicans could come up with this go around.

Cheer up Hankster. He did fine in the debates, He likes open forum, townhall style. Hes much better on his feet than the opponent. Palin has gone up against Murkowski, a 22 yr senator and beat him as well as republicans.

I thought the speech, while decent was poorly written. Too many heroic phrases that McCain spoke as if totally canned and as flat as a pancake. The words were good, but his delivery was pitiful..punching the wrong words and at the wrong times.
Still, that chick get's yer attention, and while they are really playing up her Alaskan toughness, McCain isn't making any friends in Washington by acting like she is some political bulldog he's bringing in to clean the place up.

If that whole banking thing falls apart for ya, sounds like you could always get a job with a landscape firm running a backhoe........... Broke the key off in the backhoe and area of teh ditch is behind a silt fence, so no machinery can get back there, so this has been pick & shovel work. 20 more feet and I can use the backhoe! Got a nice run in last night, kind of like running line drills in basketball. Hopefully the new ignition shows up today. My ditch... That stuff I'm digging in is like concrete.

For McCain it wasn't to bad of a speech...But enough with the same ol stories...He sounded like he had great ideas, but didn't follow up with how it would be done. If you watch the canidates speeches back to back, you'll notice a difference in idea then answer, idea then answer. Only Obama consistanty gave you that feeling of how it would be accomplished...
I did enjoy the fact that McCain didn't led on to the fact that he didn't care for our current administration...He didn't say BUSH once!!!!

Hank: Dry Erase...................... yup. If someone doesn't play along and at least attempt to come up with a path to 270 for McCain't, I might just have to drag that thing out once again, and point out how : 1. McCain't needs to win almost all the 'battleground states, as they were all Bush states. 2. Obama only needs to win a couple, maybe even one and hold the Kerry states to win. 3. McCain't will not win all the Bush states, his own campiagn knows it very well. 4. McCain't is only close in 2 Kerry states, Obama is leading or toss up in more than 5 Bush states. If you're running a campaign, wouldn't you want to running Obama/Biden, as oppsed to McCain't/Caribou Barbie's ? Assuming you want to win of course. KK- For being an astute observer of political machinery, you missed the totally obvious flaw in your thinking. Bush didn't get all the electoral votes both times. Well, until the supreme court said so and ................

It's a beaut. 560 feet long, approximately 400 feet of it is 24" deep or more (not including the berm between the ditch and the property, which is anothe 2 feet higher), and 4 feet wide, while the other 160 feet is 24" wide and averages 18" deep, but this is at the headwaters of the ditch. Total average slope from beginning to end is 2.51%.

Toss a lawyer in that mass grave ditch of yours, and I'd call it perfect! PS. That ditch kinda makes me want to come over with an E tool, an M1 and a fixed bayonet! Oh wait, that's a trench, not a ditch. Sorry. Was having some WWII flashbacks again.

ISO ISO, no one could handle those interuptions and the chanting. You break the flow and the emphasis of the speech. Code Pink got into the convention using passes of the Ron Paul (interviewed on radio, she said disgruntled republicans) in order to disrupt the speech. The man cant raise his hands over his head. He walks with a limp. He doesnt have the booming voice of Fred Thompson or an actors delivery. Sometimes you have to focus on the words. As far as friends go in Washington, its the very last consideration. Democrats are in control. He was talking to the moderates, who dont like the divisive nature of politics. Frankly, Id like to see someone throw the trash out on both sides. How many tell all books are written by congressman and senators. Ive yet to find one. Oh, I also hear that more than 38 million people watched his speech.

C'mon MF, lets see some of that analytical prowess you're packin', and just come up with a list of states McCain't is likely to win that add up to 270, use any major state polling data. Here you go KK. http://news.yahoo.com/s/ap/20080906/ap_on_el_pr/campaign_lookaheadAin't over until McCain says it's over.... Mf

It also makes a great fighting position, should the need ever arise. I was thinking of painting my fence if anybody wants to come over and watch it dry you are welcome. Andy's ditch is a lot more exciting than watching 72 year old John McCain talk for 30 minutes. I remember listening to my granpa tell stories like that. He would go on and on then ask " now what was I talking ablut "?

I personally thought the highlights of the convention were;
1.) Fred Thompson, the near life long actor, talking about Obama being a celebrity. Hmmm.....
2.) Palin trashing Reid and the 'do nothing' Senate, and then immediately mentioning her running mate 'Senator John McCain'...
I'm not a Republican, and I still would have had someone other than Thompson take the 'celebrity' angle, and put some space between Palin's remarks.
Of course, I would have been inclined to have them actually address the issues instead of barking for three days on tabloid fodder, but of course, they never asked...
